What Impact Will My Gift Have?
Medicine is often a one-size-fits-all approach, but patients have unique, individualized needs. The Precision Medicine Initiative is tackling this issue head on. We are raising money for scholarships, grants and personnel to support research and innovation with the goal of developing the next practice in cardiovascular care to meet the individual needs of our patients.
Heart disease kills more women than all cancers combined annually. Early heart attack signs in women are often different to those of men, which may lead to the misinterpretation of symptoms and misdiagnosis. The Libin Cardiovascular Institute is tackling gaps in women’s cardiovascular research and care with the Women’s Cardiovascular Health Initiative. But we are looking to do more. With your help, we can establish scholarships to attract top students; develop research grants to test new, innovative research ideas; and further our awareness work to empower more women with lifesaving information and care.
Innovations and improvements in clinical care positively impact all cardiovascular patients. The Libin Cardiovascular Institute is working to provide patients with tomorrow’s health today by accelerating the speed of health-care innovation. But we need your help. We are establishing an innovation fund to enable our members to conduct life-changing clinical research and develop clinical programs aimed at improving care and outcomes for patients affected by cardiovascular disease.
Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer globally for both men and women, but we often have the power to decrease our risk of developing heart disease. The Libin Cardiovascular Institute is working hard to empower individuals to take charge of their own cardiovascular health, but we can’t do it alone. Help us open doors for cardiovascular health by donating funds for scholarships, grants and community outreach programs.
