Dr. James Cohen was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Queen’s University in 1973. He obtained post graduate training in General Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Queen’s University followed by a year of post graduate training in Cardiology at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Cohen has fellowship certification in General Medicine and Cardiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Following his completion of formal training in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Cohen set out to devote his career interest in the practice of Cardiology. Dr. Cohen is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the University of Calgary and collaborates with the teaching program in both the Undergraduate and Post-graduate areas.
