Professor presents as part of panel of experts on redress

Professor Kathleen Mahoney was part of the Panel of Experts on Redress, an independent initiative made up of survivor groups, individual survivors, academics, lawyers, human rights organizations, practitioners and national and international experts, which presented at the Parliament Buildings in Northern Ireland on May 16. The panel created the report "A Compensation Framework for Historic Abuses in Residential Institutions," which sets out a detailed framework for an out-of-court redress scheme for survivors of institutional child abuse in Northern Ireland.
