Tracie Risling voted president-elect of Canadian Nurses Association
Congratulations to associate professor and current vice president of the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Tracie Risling! On June 13, CNA announced that Risling had been voted in as president-elect by its members.
"It is my honour to continue to advance our profession for the health and wellbeing of our patients, communities, country and world," Risling posted on LinkedIn.
CNA is the national and global professional voice of Canadian nursing, representing unionized and non-unionized nurses, retired nurses, nursing students and all categories of nurses [registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed and registered practical nurses, and registered psychiatric nurses].
Risling will serve as president-elect until 2026 when she will become CNA's 54th president for a two-year term.
