Professor in UK to give presentations on media law
Professor Emily Laidlaw is in the United Kingdom this week to give a number of presentations on media and internet law.
Emily will lead a workshop on copyright and free speech on April 8 at the Information Law and Policy Centre at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London. The workshop is funded through Emily's grant with CREATe (Centre for Copyright and New Business Models in the Creative Economy).
On April 11 and 12, Emily will give two presentations at the British and Irish Law Education and Technology Association Annual Conference, taking place at the University of Hertfordshire. Emily will present on testing a framework for freedom of expressen in copyright law and online shaming.
