Professor and alumnae to receive WILL awards
Professor Alice Woolley and alumnae Grace Auger and Wendy Best are three of the 2018 winners of the Women in Law - Leadership awards.
The Women In Law Leadership (WILL) Awards are presented annually to female members of the Alberta legal profession.
The purpose of the WILL Awards is for the Association of Women Lawyers (AWL) and The Counsel Network (TCN) to recognize the contributions of women lawyers in the following areas:
- Leadership in the Profession in Private Practice
- Leadership in the Profession in Government
- Leadership in the Profession In-house
- Leadership in the Profession in a Broader Role
- Leadership in the Community
- Tomorrows Leader
- Lifetime Achievement Award
Alice Woolley will be presented with the Leadership in the Profession (Broader Roles) award; Grace Auger, LLB'95, will receive the Leadership in the Profession (Government) award, and; Wendy Best, LLB'79, will receive the Leadership in the Profession (Private Practice) award on November 22, 2018.
