P2 Indigenous Research Seed Grant - Now Open!
The P2 (Person to Population) Cardiovascular Research Initiative is offering seed grant funding for projects that advance Indigenous cardiovascular health and health equity in Canada. This opportunity supports research that reflects Indigenous community priorities, fosters meaningful collaboration, and promotes ethical, culturally grounded practices.
Funding Details:
- Up to $15,000 for up to 2 years
- Supports personnel, operational costs, community engagement, travel, knowledge translation, and ceremonial protocols
Eligibility:
- Lead applicant must be a P2 Initiative member and hold a faculty appointment at the University of Calgary
- Trainees may apply as co-applicants with a faculty supervisor
- Projects must involve meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities or organizations

Applications will be reviewed by a multidisciplinary panel, including Indigenous scholars and community representatives.
