Biography
Dr. McClure is a Cardiac Surgeon with a directed focus toward Aortic Surgery. He is the Co-Director of the Calgary Aortic Program and a Clinical Associate Professor within the Libin Cardiovascular Institute in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Degrees and Training: Fellowship, Thoracic Aortic Surgery at University of Pennsylvania (2012-2013), Fellowship, Adult Cardiac Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University (2011-2012), FRCSC Cardiac Surgery, Western University (2011), MS Clinical Epidemiology, Harvard School of Public Health (2008), MD University of Calgary (2004). Specializes in surgical treatment of complex aorta disease. Clinical research interests include health policy initiatives with respect to aortic disease management in addition to clinical outcome studies.
