The Libin Cardiovascular Institute is a joint entity of Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary. Our more than 1,500 members include physicians, clinicians and other health professionals, researchers and trainees.
Our Initiatives
Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 cause of premature death globally. The Libin Cardiovascular Institute is tackling these problems head on through world-class cardiovascular research, training and clinical care.
