Professor Selected for Expert Panel on Integrated Natural Resource Management

Professor Martin Olszynski is currently in Ottawa serving as a panelist on the Expert Panel on Integrated Natural Resource Management. This panel was developed by the Council of Canadian Academies (CCA) in order to provide an academic assessment for Natural Resources Canada. The panel is tasked with undertaking an assessment on the current state of knowledge of integrated approaches to natural resource management in Canada. Integrated natural resource management refers to ways of managing natural resources that consider a comprehensive range of needs and uses and their sustainability over the long term. The specific question that is being assessed is, "What is the state of knowledge and practice of integrated approaches to natural resource management in Canada?"
