The Community and Partners Advisory Committee is Chaired by Dr. Alvin Libin and is currently comprised of local philanthropists and partners from organizations such as the University of Calgary, health regions from across Southern Alberta, the University of Lethbridge, the City of Red Deer, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT, and Nunavut, and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
This Committee meets biannually and its purpose it to advocate for the Institute's programs and priority needs, enhancing the quality of cardiovascular care, research and education through the institute. Members are a window to the needs of the community in order to inform program development and directly contribute to realizing the Institute's potential and achieving the highest international standards.
